Silicon Planet and DevelopPro provide NSFRE fundraisers with turnkey web package.

LOS ANGELES, CA. — Silicon Planet, a provider of turnkey software solutions for nonprofits, has formed a partnership with DevelopPro, Inc., of Manhattan, Kansas. DevelopPro provides complete consulting and information services for development professionals in the United States, with both updated news and technology products. Through this partnership, Silicon Planet and DevelopPro will offer a turnkey Web site package to every registered member of the National Society of Fund Raising Executives (NSFRE).

DevelopPro will launch its information service for development executives in January 2001. As part of that service, DevelopPro will offer fundraising executives with technology tools to make fundraising more effective and less costly. Starting in January 2001, Silicon Planet’s products will appear on the DevelopPro Web site, giving fundraisers a cost-effective, instant solution for Web site communication, donation processing, and donor management.

"We are very pleased to partner with Silicon Planet. It is particularly well-suited to providing nonprofit organizations the opportunity to create tailored Web sites quickly and inexpensively," said Mike Maude, President of "Our partnership will enable fund raising professionals to connect within their communities and enhance their effectiveness."

"We welcome the chance to work with DevelopPro," said Joshua Marks, CEO of Silicon Planet. "DevelopPro will be a trusted information source for our clients, and offers an unparalleled distribution opportunity for Silicon Planet."

Silicon Planet’s software combines Web site development with database technology, allowing nonprofit staff members to focus on building community relationships without having to manage complex technology tools. Silicon Planet’s recently launched CMS 2001 product suite adds advanced Web site development, event and staff management, donation processing, web-based communications, and full integration with Microsoft Exchange. CMS 2001 installs locally or can be managed via an ASP model.
